BRASA Blacks Honors is a scholarship program aimed exclusively at the Brazilian black community who have been accepted or are taking undergraduate or postgraduate courses abroad.
In addition to offering financial assistance to cover university expenses, including housing and food, the program's main objective is to strengthen the Brazilian Afro-descendant community, providing opportunities for academic and professional development.
Prerequisites
Undergraduate

Declare yourself as black or brown;

Be Brazilian, born or naturalized;

Be committed to the empowerment of the Brazilian black community;

Have been accepted or be completing a full undergraduate degree in any university abroad with graduation scheduled for a date starting in December 2024;

Prove financial need to receive the BRASA Scholarship through
documents such as Income Tax and, if applicable, a letter granting financial aid or scholarship from the university.
PostGraduate

Declare yourself as black or brown;

Be Brazilian, born or naturalized;

Be committed to the empowerment of the Brazilian black community;

Have been accepted or be completing a full postgraduate course (master's or doctorate) at a university abroad with graduation scheduled for December 2024 or later;

Prove financial need to receive the BRASA Scholarship through
proof of income and a letter of financial aid from the university.

The evaluation criteria for the Program selection process will be based on aspects related to the financial need, merit, motivation and personal trajectory of the candidates .
